Turn your phone into a remote for Samsung, LG and Android TV. Your phone and TV just need to be on the same Wi-Fi network.

1. Before you start

2. Connect a TV for the first time

  1. Open the app. The Choose TV screen finds TVs on your network. If yours isn't listed, tap Enter IP and type the TV's IP address (from the TV's network settings).
  2. Pick your TV.
  3. Confirm pairing:
    • Samsung, LG: the TV asks for permission; choose Allow with the TV's own remote.
    • Android TV: the TV shows a 6-character code; type it in the app.

You only pair once. After that the app reconnects automatically.

3. Using the remote

4. Can't connect?

  1. Check that the TV and phone are on the same Wi-Fi and the TV is fully on (not in standby).
  2. Your router may have AP / client isolation turned on, which stops devices from seeing each other. Turn it off in the router's admin page.
  3. Denied the request on the TV by mistake?
    • Samsung: Settings › General › External Device Manager › Device Connection Manager › Device List, then allow it again.
    • Android TV keeps failing to pair: Settings › Apps › System apps › Android TV Remote Service › Clear data, then try again.
  4. iPhone: Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network, turn it on for Smart Remote Device.
  5. Still stuck: restart the TV and router, or enter the TV's IP manually.

5. Report a problem

On the Choose TV screen, tap 🐞 Report a problem, tap Copy, and email it to support@tiniappstudio.com. It includes the TV model and a technical log, never passwords or tokens.
